Prof. Hariprasad P. is a Professor at the Centre for Rural Development and Technology, IIT Delhi, with over a decade of distinguished contributions to agricultural microbial biotechnology, applied secondary metabolites, and rapid detection kit development. His career began as a DBT Research Associate at CFTRI, Mysore, before joining IIT Delhi in 2013 as Assistant Professor — progressing to Associate Professor in 2020 and Professor in 2025. His translational research bridges laboratory innovation with real-world agricultural applications, developing scalable microbial solutions and diagnostic tools that advance food security, rural livelihoods, and sustainable agricultural ecosystems.
