Mr. Rakesh completed his Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from SASTRA University, Tamil Nadu, and went on to pursue dual Master’s degrees – one in biotechnology from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and the other in Food Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. After his brief stint in the USA as a research scholar, he worked as a Project Associate at CSIR-NIIST, Kerala, in 2021. He also had the opportunity to work as a Senior Research Officer at A*STAR, Singapore, and at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Varanasi, India. Having worked as an Assistant Manager in Noida last year, he is currently associated with IIT Delhi as a senior project scientist working on rice fortification.
